The lawsuit focuses on two points. First, the argument that parts of the agreed on contract werent followed through and second, a lack of payment. The lawsuit claims the offer letter for the position, listed as a consulting physician in the ICSM Medical Center, detailed Dr. Liszkas compensation at $100 per hour, with at least 20 hours promised per week. Among other benefits, such as the loan of a company computer, the lawsuit claims she was promised a $5,000 bonus by the company. A copy of the offer letter, dated Jan. 2 2016, was obtained by the Martinsville Bulletin, as it is an exhibit in the lawsuit. The letter, addressed to Liszka, states that it is for a half-time position with a requirement of 20 hours per week. Compensation is set at $100 per hour. It is agreed that ICSM will pay your annual malpractice insurance premium, DEA and licensure cost and Continuing Medical Education costs needed to maintain licensure The letter also states that ICSM will pay you (Liszka) a bonus of $5,000 as soon as it possibly can.
